	<strong>FARMINGTON HILLS, MICHIGAN</strong><strong>(May 8, 2012)</strong> - Friedman Integrated Real Estate Solutions, is pleased to announce its negotiation of the sale of the historic Penobscot Building, an iconic three (3) tower office complex in Downtown Detroit. The nearly 1,000,000 SF building was sold on behalf of the owner, Capmark Financial to Toronto-based Triple Properties.</p>
<p>
	Rising forty-seven stories tall, the Penobscot Building stood as Detroit&rsquo;s tallest building for almost 50 years until the construction of the Renaissance Center in 1977. The Penobscot building is located in the heart of Detroit&rsquo;s CBD overlooking Campus Martius Park and the Detroit River. As occupancy and rental rates continue to climb in the Detroit CBD, investor activity was highly elevated, with interested buyers from across the country. &ldquo;We received tremendous activity at the property as the building lends itself to a variety of uses. With the buyer&rsquo;s recent interest in the region and passion for the city&rsquo;s transformation, they have shown a strong commitment to the building. We have a long standing history with the Penobscot, a vested interest in the revitalization of Detroit, and are looking forward to the building&rsquo;s next chapter,&rdquo; said Barry Swatsenbarg, National Director, Investment &amp; Loan Sale Advisory Services for Friedman.</p>

	Designed by architect Wirt C. Rowland of Smith, Hinchman &amp; Grylls, the Penobscot remains a striking symbol of the popular Art Deco architectural style of the 1920&rsquo;s, with the building&rsquo;s trademark red beacon sitting atop the structure&rsquo;s highest point. Constructed of steel and topped with a red neon ball, the beacon was originally designed by the Claude Neon Company. Twelve feet in diameter, the ball is visible from forty miles and was used by aviators in the 1920&rsquo;s to find their way.</p>

	<strong>Dearborn</strong><strong>, Mich. &ndash; October 3, 2010 </strong><strong>- </strong>In a move designed to reduce costs and promote a more collaborative work environment, the corporate services division of Oakwood Healthcare, Inc. (OHI) is moving 500 employees into two single-story buildings located at 15500 Lundy Parkway in Dearborn.</p>
<p>
	&ldquo;Oakwood Healthcare has been a part of the Dearborn community for more than 50 years, and it was important to us to keep our corporate services in Dearborn,&rdquo; said Brian Connolly, president and CEO, OHI. &ldquo;The new location not only enhances efficiencies, it provides our non-clinical employees with a more collaborative work environment enabling them to share resources while continuing to provide outstanding service to the patients and communities we serve.&rdquo;</p>
<p>
	The lease agreement with Ford Land provides Oakwood with a total of 135,000 square feet &ndash; an additional 25,000 more than the previous office space at an overall savings of 20 percent per square foot. &nbsp;</p>
<p>
	&ldquo;Oakwood and Ford Land are deeply rooted in the community and share a similar commitment to serving the community,&rdquo; said Donna Inch, chairman and CEO, Ford Land. &ldquo;We are delighted we were able to provide the right space to suit their needs and welcome them to Fairlane.&rdquo;</p>

	Represented by NAI Farbman in obtaining the new location, Oakwood launched a year-long plan to prepare employees for the move while making minor renovations. The last department is scheduled to move on October 4.</p>

<p>
	Insite Commercial, a well known commercial real estate provider in the marketplace, announced a 14.64 acre sale of vacant land in Auburn Hills has closed on behalf of Schostak Brothers, purchased from General Development.</p>
<p>
	Schostak Brothers will be developing and the landlord of a 55,490 SF building for the Tier 1 automotive supplier, Henniges Automotive.&nbsp; Henniges is moving their headquarters from Farmington Hills to this new LEED certified building within the Oakland Technology Park, just south of the newly constructed US Farathane building.&nbsp; General Development was hired on as the contractor to build the facility.&nbsp; When built, the new building will be one of the few non-owner occupied LEED buildings in the marketplace.&nbsp; Price and terms of the long term lease were undisclosed.</p>
